Vacancy: Aquarium / Fish Enthusiast , 6-Months Position

[Glasaal Volendam]

Glasaal Volendam is a Dutch private aquaculture company researching on closing the life cycle of European eel (www.volendamglasaal.com). We are looking for a fish / aquarium enthusiast to help us with the daily care of eel larvae at our facility in Volendam for a 6-month temporary position (sick leave cover).

Tasks include:

• Feeding eel larvae
• Cleaning tanks
• Basic maintenance of tanks/RAS systems
• General husbandry tasks

A strong biology background is not required. We are mainly looking for someone reliable and passionate about fish and aquaria. This position could suit a student or young professional with aquarium experience and passion for fish.
