What is the problem and how to solve it?

Hi all,

i have HQI, Aqua Medic, metal helide.
the lamps are new (couple of days) and the system is used but in great condition.
one lamp works perfectly but one don't.

You can see in the short film i did that the problem may be the "starter"...
what do you think?

Someone knowing place in Amsterdam i can fix this problem?

Thank you for your fast response.
No, I didn't add dimmer.
The system is not DIY but ready from production.
I didn't change/add nothing from the original part...

Np. I googled your problem. And came across a guy who had the same situation. You say your system is used but in great condition, Is there any oxidation? If not than is it possible you replace it with the 'old' lamps? If the old lamps do the same, chances are it is your starter. The starter is very fragile..

They also mention, replace the wiring (could solve it). They advise, extra insulated wiring.

change the both lamps and see if the problem moves, do the same with the starter.

I checked that with my electrician friend...
I need to replace the starter...
